The Clark Center for Japanese Art & Culture's "Carmel-by-the-Sea Journey" is an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime program in the vicinity of Carmel, the world-renowned destination on the Pacific Coast just one month before worldwide attention will be focused on the Monterey Peninsula for the 2010 U.S. Open Championship (golf) in Pebble Beach.

Commencing on Friday evening, May 14th, and concluding in the afternoon of Sunday, May 16th, the Clark Center will welcome participants who will enjoy an outstanding program of events with opportunities to make new friends and share experiences. An important part of the program will be visits to private, architecturally and culturally significant homes and historic buildings that are otherwise not accessible. For example, the Charles Sumner Greene Studio that the well-known architect built in 1923, and Ansel Adams' (1902-1984) home and studio where the famous photographer and environmentalist lived from 1962 until his death.

Reserve your place for this exquisite, entertaining event early. Participation is limited because of logistics of arrangement. "Carmel-by-the-Sea Journey" is the Clark Center's main fundraiser for 2010. The Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
